While it’s probably safe to say that many of you would enjoy working with your kitty on your desk or lap, this idea really hasn’t caught on in the corporate world. However, even if your boss doesn’t want to ‘hire’ your kitty, you can still bring your pet with you, at least in spirit. Get Plenty of Rest
Cats certainly are drowsy little furballs. Fluffy can sleep up to 20 hours a day! While you probably don’t need quite that much shuteye, it is important to be well-rested.
Look Your Best
Kitties take their beauty regimens quite seriously. Your furry little diva will spend time every day grooming herself. You don’t necessarily need to have a three-hour morning ritual, but it is important to look neat and well-groomed.
Be Yourself
Fluffy doesn’t worry about what people think of her when she pounces on a catnip mouse, or does that adorable jump/roll/meow combination. She also isn’t shy about sleeping in unusual positions, or letting her humans know she wants breakfast right meow. Be yourself!
Be A Self-Starter
Our feline buddies certainly enjoy living the lives of pampered housecats. They are definitely safer, happier, and healthier as pets. However, cats are remarkably self-sufficient hunters, and are able to fend for themselves in the wild. Be independent, and don’t be afraid to work hard for what you want!
Take Time To Play
If there’s one thing that our furry pals are good at, it’s maintaining a work/life balance. Kitties are absolutely adorable when they are being playful. It’s hard not to smile when Fluffy pounces on a fuzzy mouse toy, or chases after that little red dot. Take time to do things you enjoy!
Be Confidant
This one may need to be taken with a grain of salt, as you don’t want to go overboard. That said, it’s important to have confidence in yourself and in your abilities. That smug, self-assured look Fluffy gets when she is content is totally adorable. Believe in yourself!
